Our final day in Missoula, Montana was a lot of fun. Started off with banana pancakes at our hosts
Arlen and Shawn’s house. We then cycled
to a farmer’s market, where we ate huckleberry smoothies and fresh cherries,
and spent the rest of the afternoon floating down the Clark Fork River w/ our
friend Melissa Thompson. We spent the evening back at Arlen and Shawn’s,
who invited us to stay a second night.
Melissa came over with her friend Brian, and the seven of us grilled out
turkey sausages and hamburgers, then stayed up late playing board games. It was a relaxing and fun end to our stay in
Missoula.
Tomorrow, we will cycle to Lolo Hot Springs on our way over
the Lolo Pass, our third and final mountain pass through the Rocky
Mountains. I may not have Internet
access, so it might be a couple days before I can update this blog.
